i think characters should talk in different fonts and syntax

im not done coloring yet or anything but i just filled in what each piece of his costume is going to be (the holster is just brown)

blue? also yellow?? wouldnt that look like crap?????

but i REALLY hate patriots design here, he was originally supposed to be kind of a combination between superman and captain america, and most importantly hes supposed to be like the Big Hero, the most famous and symbolic one, like superman, but i accidentally went too army guy and not enough superhero with it so his costume doesnt say that at all

plus its basically just captain america but slightly different right now, even when you know his helmet is white

ANYWAY

i wanted to post this to show what kid canarys cape/poncho is actually like since i tried something different with the drawing i just did

i did bird guy second and you can kinda tell i spent more time on it and had more of an idea of what i was doing with it, kid canary was kind of just a sketch that i cleaned up as much as i could so it wouldnt look terrible next to him

but anyway!!!!!! these are two of my superheroes that ive been designing

i have scans of the other stuff ive designed but theyre not very good drawings so i think i might just make more pixely drawings like these and post those instead

also just a note, the cut of that jacket is a womens cropped motorcycle jacket

he is very protective of it

anyway i drew this

it was only when i was done with all the flats that i realized i have different color settings on my monitor because i have really sensitive eyes

so um

it might help to view this with contrast at 90 instead of 100

anyway im really tired so probably going to sleep now
